The Moto X Style takes over from the 2014 Moto X as the Motorola flagship flagship smartphone. In the camera department the new model has received a complete overhaul and now comes with a Sony IMX 230 1/2.4-inch 21MP BSI CMOS sensor and a dual-LED flash. As on its predecessor, the camera offers an F2.0 aperture and 4K video recording.
Another new camera feature can be found at the front of the device where the 5MP wide-angle front camera is now assisted by a dedicated flash. This should help capture usable self-portraits even in very dark conditions. On the software side of things there is a new user-activated night mode, which raises sensitivity to better expose very dark scenes, freeze motion and reduce the risk of image blur in low light. It also reduces image size to 5MP.
Images can be viewed and composed on a 5.7-inch display with Quad-HD (1440p) resolution and the front-facing stereo speakers should come in handy when watching video. Additionally, the Moto X Style offers a quick charging mode that Motorola calls TurboPower. According to the manufacturer it gets you 10 hours of use out of only 10 minutes of charging. Like the previous model the new Moto X Style is running an almost pure version of Android 5.1 that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 1.8 GHz hexa-core CPUs and 3GB of RAM. Internal storage is 16, 32 or 64GB and can be expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD slot.
The device shell comes with a metal frame and, as before, the back can be customized with real wood or leather via the Moto Maker website. Advanced nano-coating technology is used to make the Moto X Style water repellent. It is protected against accidental spills, splashes or light rain but not designed to be submerged in water.

Why are there more whining babies on gsmarena than in the real world?
everyone here is so into the spec sheet, they forget they are using a phone not the specs themselves. I want everyone to USE a device before they bash it. You get to customize your phone, you have features you actually use available. you get a 21mp camera at f2.0, you get micro sd and you get a turbo charger. how do you complain about a 2k amoled screen? just say you're not buying it. find another phone with 1080p recording at 60fps at $400. LG g2 and 1+ are the only ones.

Weak device, no high end only mid range class.
Not worth 400 bucks, may be 300, against S5+ wich is 400 euro this phone is nothing.

Motorola is going to become more popular again after the Pricing of the X Play Style,people will not be able to afford to buy the future Samsung Note 5 or Galaxy S6 Edge + or even the iPhone 6s,People will be very eager to see the Review about this phone and its camera,an can it really challenge Samsung or Apple,Hope it can,an show to Samsung that there really over pricing there current phones and losing some of there best options is going to back-fire on them

SD 808 is a better chioce than 810, but it doesn't seems much better then 805, only the number of cores makes it better. - if you have one of these devices Nexus 6, DROID Turbo or Moto Maxx no reason to change, if they packed a SD 820 into that would be great.
No optical image stabilization - That's BAD.
