The MFX-4555 and MFX-5555 Professional Edition combine the key benefits of a traditional

departmental copier, with the footprint and performance of a workgroup printer,

to deliver a powerful workgroup MFP solution that will help your workgroup digitize, manage and print documents more efficiently and economically than ever before.

It’s a fact that over 97% of office documents are produced on letter/legal (A4) size paper, meaning fewer than 3% is produced on 11' x 17' (A3) size paper. In a typical office each workgroup may have a standalone printer and utilize a departmental, or centralized (mail room), A3 copier to not only make copies, but scan and fax as well.

With companies facing pressure to increase customer service levels, comply with government or industry-specific regulations, or simply create a more efficient work environment, a high-speed A4 MFP deployed within the workgroup can conserve office space, deliver productivity-boosting scanning, copying and faxing solutions closer to users, while reducing document output costs.

Flexible Printing Support

The MFX-4555 & MFX-5555 Professional Edition feature standard support for a variety of Windows (2000, XP, Vista, 2003 and Windows 7), Mac OS (10.3 - 10.5) and Linux (various) operating systems.

Document Storage & Retrieval

Frequently printed documents, including forms, job applications and expense reports can be digitally stored in the 80-GB hard disk drive for instant recall and printing, without having to initiate printing from a PC. Each user can set-up their own document box on the MFP and require authentication prior to accessing documents.

Fax Routing & Archiving

Inbound fax documents can be routed to an e-mail address or SMB folder to conserve paper and increase security. A copy of each outbound fax transmission can be sent to an e-mail address, or SMB folder, to create an audit trail of communication.

Mailing Solutions

Utilize the robust multipurpose bypass tray to print on a variety of envelopes, letterhead and labels.

USB Print/Scan/Back-Up

With the USB host port you can easily scan documents to, print document from, and back-up machine settings on a USB flash drive.

•To achieve the maximum paper capacity of 3,240-sheets add (1) C4000CAS and (1) C4000CASL to the base configuration.
